Flagged Emails In Mac Mail App
Apr 04, 2015 I used the Flagged email in my Mac mail a lot to remind me of outstanding and todo items, both for incoming and outgoing mails. I am sure you all know that the only flagged emails that show up in iOS are those in the Inbox but not from the Sent folder or any other folders.
If you’re like me, you send links, files, and other information to your own email address for later access. It’s a great way to save information for future articles, how to posts, and more. I always leave them unopened, so I’ll see the unread items in my inbox and remind me.
But, if you sent something to yourself a few days or even few weeks ago, the item you’re looking for could be buried under a mound of emails. Sure, you could search the mailbox, but what if you come up blank for a search term?

Show, hide, or change the Mail sidebar
The Mail sidebar shows mailboxes, folders, and flagged items for the email accounts you use in Mail.
In the Mail app on your Mac, do any of the following:
Show the sidebar: Choose View > Show Mailbox List or click Mailboxes in the Favorites bar.
Resize the sidebar: Drag its separator bar left or right. If you drag it all the way to the left, it hides the sidebar.
Hide the sidebar: Choose View > Hide Mailbox List or click Mailboxes in the Favorites bar again.
How To Find Flagged Emails
To change the size of the sidebar icons, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click General, then select a sidebar icon size.

The Mail Favorites bar provides quick access to your favorite or most-used mailboxes and folders.

Hide the Favorites bar: Choose View > Hide Favorites Bar.
